The beach at Harlech is amazing with miles of golden sands and the dunes form part of a National Nature Reserve.
It’s completely unspoilt – there are no unsightly facilities here, though there are toilets close by. So bring your own ice creams and take any rubbish away with you.
There is a charge for parking – it is run by Gwynedd County Council. Please note that the toilets may be closed in winter.
Not far from the beach is a shop where you can get sandwiches and coffee and also the swimming pool is close by which has a cafe. Don’t forget to bring a bucket and spade.
The beach has designated areas for dogs.
